Welcome to the consultation website for Bridge House.
Bryanston Development are seeking to develop Bridge House on Bridge Close in Ladbroke Grove to provide creative workspace and 13 new homes.
We have created this website so we can share information, update you on the proposal and provide our contact details.
Bryanston Development are a family run development company who manage a number of properties in the local area. They have bought the site and are seeking to bring forward a development that complements the local area, making better use of the vacant, brownfield site.
What has happened so far?
A community leaflet was circulated in November 2022 to 247 local addresses to let people know about the proposal and ask for their feedback. We hand delivered 70 leaflets to those adjacent to the site.
A planning application was then submitted to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for consideration and we reviewed the feedback received from the local community.
In August 2023 we wrote to residents and went door to door to speak to residents in person and understand the feedback they had provided in more detail.
Local residents told us they would like more detail on the proposed development, including images. This website has been created to update the local community and provide further details.
We are updating the planning application and will record all the feedback received from the community and submit it with the updated application documents.

The Proposal
The existing building on the site will be retained and refurbished.
The upward extension will be 2-storeys, with a further side extension to the south-east of the site, which will be 6-storeys.
The scheme will provide new homes, both in the refurbishment of the existing building and the extension.
The existing building will also provide three flexible spaces for local businesses on the ground floor.
To the west of the site and between the building and the existing properties on Bridge Close, a high-quality landscaped area with breakout spaces for the commercial occupants and future residents will be provided, alongside a new play area.
